Devlog 5: Testing Reveals Mistakes!
In a span of 2 weeks, major Quality of Life and other polishes... we're almost there. Hello inquiring minds! This is Blazer speaking again through written words. We held back releasing from the game's state 2 weeks ago for a good reason, I swear! Turns out, group testing is important! For context, the Daun Kompak team is scattered throughout our country. All of our activities are pretty much online only. Thus, we never really got around to test it live together. Well, it's a good thing that we tested live together because lots of Quality of Life and other polishes were made! Changes that we have made include making the dash mechanic more intuitive to use. We patched out an infinite gliding technique as well! That would have made it exceedingly easy to go out of bounds. We also added better font size as well as transitions between screens. After that, we fixed some fatal freeze bugs and then we set out to test live again. If all goes well, the release shouldn't be too far from this dev log! We would greatly appreciate any and all feedback. Thank you for reading this far. We hope to be able to grow the game into something special along with your feedback! |
